What can you use argan oil for?

Cosmetic use of argan oil

Skin

You can use cosmetic argan oil in many ways.

You can apply the oil directly to your skin and massage in lightly. It does not feel greasy and absorbs quickly.

Argan oil is naturally anti-inflammatory and therefore helps to reduce acne, eczema and psoriasis.

Thanks to its moisturizing effect, it also works well against dry and irritated skin, prevents and reduces wrinkles and stretch marks and makes rough spots such as elbows and knees soft and supple.

Hair

Does your hair feel dry and fluffy? Then argan oil makes it soft and shiny again.

Spread a little oil over the hair tips or use argan oil as a hair mask. Massage your head and hair with argan oil and sleep with it for a night. Rinse the morning after and your hair is nice and soft again.

Culinary use of argan oil

Purely use

Culinary argan oil gives a delicious taste to all your dishes. Because the nuts are first slightly roasted, it gives a special nutty taste.

Use argan oil with pasta and rice or as a delicious dressing.

Culinary argan oil tastes delicious with many dishes but especially with fish and salads. Replace olive oil with argan oil.

In Morocco, argan oil is much pure served for breakfast. Just as a dip, to dip in your bread. It is also often made into a dip sauce called amlou. This sauce consists of argan oil, almonds and honey and it is often compared to peanut butter.

Better not heat

Important to know: argan oil is not for frying and roasting.

This is possible in itself but by heating it the argan oil loses all vitamins and minerals and that is a shame. It is too expensive for that.

It is therefore better to add the oil if your dish is already prepared. This way it retains the special taste and all the good qualities.
